Our story Malgorzata “Maggie” Kwiecien, a brilliant engineer from Poland, was a rising star in FM Global before she passed away at the age of 43 after a 3-year battle with stomach cancer. In 2015, Maggie moved to the U.S. alone, with no support system, and was known for her courage and determination. She was never afraid of physical challenges and excelled in various sports. Maggie was also intellectually fearless, always willing to debate and devoted to education, determined to become an expert in whatever she pursued. This scholarship honors Maggie’s life by supporting female students who have moved to the U.S. for their education.
Our goal The Maggie’s Way Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing support for female students who come to the U.S. to pursue their education. The fund will help to ensure that the Maggie’s Way scholarship can continue to be awarded annually, even after the initial funds have been depleted.
